Mauricio De Souza, AKA “Moura” first started repairing surfboards back in 1976 in his hometown of Rio de Janeiro. Soon after he would become the guy to go to for any type of surfboard repair needs in his part of town. A few years later he moved to NYC where he landed a job patching dings on boats on City Island, an island right off the upper side of Manhattan.
